Use the PostgreSQL connector in DataStage® to access data in a PostgreSQL database.

Prerequisite

Create the connection. For instructions, see Connecting to a data source in DataStage and the PostgreSQL connection.

Query timeout

If you enter a value in the Query timeout field in both the connection and the DataStage connector properties, the value that you enter in the DataStage General source properties or the General target properties field overrides the value for the connection.
