Running SQL in Watson Query

Running SQL in Watson Query

SQL is a standardized language for defining and manipulating data in a relational database. You can use the Run SQL interface to execute SQL statements and scripts against the database.

Procedure

  1. On the navigation menu, click Data > Data virtualization.
The service menu opens to the Data sources page by default.
  2. On the service menu, click Run SQL.

The SQL editor allows users with appropriate permissions to run SQL statements against connections and to save scripts.

  3. Choose a template to create an SQL statement or script.

For more information, see the SQL reference in the Db2® documentation.
