Transformer stage in DataStage: Output tab

Transformer stage: Output tab

On the Output tab, you can enter a constraint. You can also review input and output links.

You can map input columns to output columns by dragging and dropping input columns over to the output column table. You can select an input column by either clicking the column checkbox or Shift + clicking the column entry in the input column table. If the stage has no output columns, any input columns you select must be dragged and dropped into the search bar or headers of the output column table. If output columns are present, input columns can be dragged and dropped anywhere in the table to create a mapping.

You can also switch to Runtime column propagation on for this link, in which case data will automatically be propagated from the input link without you having to specify meta data for this output link (see "Runtime Column Propagation" ). The Advanced tab allows you to change the default buffering settings for the output links.
