The Tree-AS node fits CHAID decision tree models in a distributed environment suitable for very large amounts of data. CHAID, or Chi-squared Automatic Interaction Detection, is a classification method for building decision trees by using chi-square statistics to identify optimal splits.
- For more information about this node, see Tree-AS Overview.
- For more information about the visualizations for this node, see Tree-AS Visualizations.
By internally discretizing or binning scale fields into ordinal categorical fields it can produce both classification and regression trees using input features of any measurement level.
