To access your data with the IBM Netezza Performance Server for DataStage connection, create a connection asset for it. This connection works with the DataStage IBM Netezza Performance Server for DataStage connector, which has exclusive features for DataStage.

Create a connection with IBM Netezza Performance Server for DataStage
To create the connection asset, you need these connection details:
- Database name
- Hostname
- Port number: The default is
5480
. - Username and password
The IBM Netezza Performance Server for DataStage connection supports IBM Cloud Satellite connector. The IBM Cloud Satellite tile is available in the Private Connectivity section of the Create connection form. You can set up a Satellite Connector to securely connect to your data source from a Docker container in your on-prem infrastructure or set up a Satellite location with multiple hosts in your infrastructure, such as an on-prem data center or cloud. Advanced options
Select Use separate connection for TWT to use a separate connection for creating, dropping, or accessing external tables and the Temporary Work Table. The DataStage IBM Netezza Performance Server for DataStage connector uses a Temporary Work Table as a staging area for the rows received from the input link of a target IBM Netezza Performance Server for DataStage connector.
Enter the database name and the optional username and password for the TWT connection. The database must be on the same database server that you specify for the hostname and port properties.
