System terms for rules in policies

A system term is the name of an asset property or a user property. It can be the first term in a rule condition.

To replace one of the predefined system terms you can associate it with a business term. The associated business term then replaces the system term when defining rule conditions.

Term Description
Data Class The automatically assigned classification of a column or attribute in the asset.
Asset Manual Classification The user-assigned classification of the asset.
Asset Owner The IBMid of the user who owns the asset. Example: jblue@example.com
Asset Tags The tags on an asset. Example: Marketing, Client Information, Claim
User Name The IBMid of a user requesting access to an asset. Example: jblue@example.com
