Creating custom asset types with the APIs
You can create custom asset types and add the assets that are defined by these custom asset types to the catalog by using the Data and AI Common Core API. The newly created asset types are searchable in the catalog.
Custom properties and relationships
Both custom asset types and predefined asset types can have custom properties or relationships that are defined by an administrator. You can work with custom properties and relationships in the same way as you work with predefined properties and relationships. See Custom properties and relationships for governance artifacts and catalog assets.
