Elasticsearch is an open source search and analytics engine based on the Apache Lucene library. It combines the power of a scalable full text search engine with
the indexing strengths of a schema-free JSON document database.
Elasticsearch is a powerful tool for rich data analysis of large volumes of data, catalogs,
autocompletion, log analysis, monitoring, blockchain analysis and more. IBM Cloud Databases for
Elasticsearch provide the benefits of high availability, automated backup orchestration,
autoscaling, and de-coupled allocation of storage, RAM, and vCPUs. Databases for Elasticsearch
pricing is based on underlying disk, RAM, and optional vCPU allocation, as well as backup storage
usage.
This service provides a database that you can connect to from Watson Studio.
