The Knowledge Accelerators use business terms in a range of different roles, across the provided vocabulary. The details of their use will be described in the sections on each component.
However in general, any terms in the business vocabulary will conform to the following
characteristics :
- The name and description should be business meaningful.
- The name should be unique across the full Knowledge Accelerator vocabulary, with the exception being the Industry Alignment Vocabularies, where the same name may be reused for terms relating to different standards or regulations.
- All terms will have at least one tag assigned.
- All terms will conform a standardized set of patterns in relation to how they are related to other terms and categories.
