Data Virtualization instances are soft-deleted in production whenever you delete the instance in IBM® Cloud.
The instance stays in the soft-delete state for up to 3 days before it is fully deleted in IBM Cloud. If your instance is not fully deleted, you can re-enable the existing soft-deleted instance.
Deleting your instance in the user interface
To delete your Data Virtualization instance, click Delete in the action menu from the Resource list of the IBM Cloud dashboard or select your instance and click Delete service in the Actions menu.

Virtualization instance
