You can create reusable components for DataStage® flows.

DataStage components that you can create include subflows, libraries, data definitions, and standardization rules. You can manage all your DataStage components from the Assets tab.

1. Open an existing project or create a project.
2. Click New asset + > Create reusable DataStage components.
3. Select the DataStage component that you want to create type, then click Next.
4. Specify details such as name and description for the DataStage component, then click Create.
5. Provide any further details that your DataStage component requires. When you are finished, click Save.
