Complex Flat File schema in DataStage

You can create a Complex Flat File schema as a DataStage® component to use in flows with the Complex Flat File (CFF) connector.

You can create a schema asset from DataStage components by uploading a file to parse for a schema. You can upload a COBOL copybook with one of the following extensions: ".cob", ".cbl", ".cpy", ".ccp". Once uploaded, the schema cannot be modified.

You can also create a CFF schema from a flow by clicking Save columns in the Records section of the Stage tab. You can select which columns to include.

To use a CFF schema in your CFF connector, click Import columns under the Records section of the Stage tab. Select which schema to use and which columns to add as a new record on that node.
