Designing jobs with the Java Integration stage (DataStage®)

You can use the Java™ Integration stage to integrate Java code and develop jobs that read, write, and load data.

1. To set up the Java Integration stage as a source to retrieve data from Java code:
   1. Configure Java Integration stage as a source.
   2. Set up column definitions.
   3. Map link index and link names.
2. To set up the Java Integration stage as a target to pass data to Java code:
   1. Configure the Java Integration stage as a target.
   2. Set up column definitions.
   3. Map link index and link names.
3. To set up the Java Integration stage as a transformer to transform data on input link, and write to output link:
   1. Configuring Java Integration stage as a transformer (DataStage).
   2. Set up column definitions.
   3. Map link index and link names.
4. Look up data by using reference links.
5. Compile and run the job.
