You can override the default settings for titles, range slider, grid lines, and mouse tracking for all visualizations of a data asset. You can also specify a different color scheme template. Color theme templates are useful for data with groupings or stacking variables.
With the Tools options, you can use a Range Slider to control how much data you want displayed in a chart or to add options such as zoom, save as image, restore, select data, and clear selection. The Aria option when enabled, makes web content and web applications more accessible.
To change the default settings for all visualizations for a data asset:
- On the Visualization tab, click the Global visualization preferences control in the Actions section.
- Choose the settings that you require. The settings that you select are applied to all charts.
- Click Apply to save your settings.
The Global visualization preferences are applied to all visualizations for the current data asset.
For a list of chart types, see Chart types.
