Building apps that use Natural Language Classifier models

To use IBM Watson Natural Language Classifier models in applications that you develop, you need to collect your API key as well as the model ID of any classifiers you want to use. This topic describes how to perform these tasks in IBM Watson Studio.

API key

You can find your API key in the Natural Language Classifier service credentials:

  1. Select "Watson Services" from the Services drop-down list in Watson Studio. This shows all your Natural Language Classifier service instances.
  2. Click the Natural Language Classifier service instance you want to use.
  3. View the credentials in the Credentials tab, and then copy the API key.

Model ID

After training a model in Watson Studio, you can find the model ID in the model builder:

  1. From the Assets page of your project, click a Natural Language Classifier model to open it in the model builder.
  2. In the Overview area of the model builder, you can find the model ID.

Sample code

After training a Natural Language Classifier model in Watson Studio, you can find sample code for using your classifier in the Natural Language Classifier model builder:

  1. From the Assets page of your project, click a Natural Language Classifier model to open it in the model builder.
  2. In the Implementation area of the model builder, you can find sample code.
